A PERSONAL NOTE FROM ARIA MODY

Growing up between two worlds —American by birth, yet forever tied to India through my mother. As a younf girl, I felt alone and struggled to find a sense of belonging. That feeling changed when I finally spent meaningful time living in India. The country’s rhythm, its colors and its glorious spirit awakened something in me creatively—revealing a voice and perspective l hadn’t discovered previously.

Made in India was born from that awakening. It’s my story, and it’s also a tribute to my mother, who left India to start over in America, completely alone. She raised me as a single mother with unwavering love, courage, and strength. Her journey shaped me, and through her, I discovered my own heritage and identity.

RISHI RICH is an award-winning British-Indian music producer and recording artist based in London. He began his career in the Asian Underground scene and later became internationally known for his Bhangra tracks (traditional music of the Punjabi region), his Hindi remixes, and as the leading producer of Asian-R&B fusion. He is known for his groundbreaking work with Jay Sean, Juggy D, and countless international artists incl. Britney Spears, Mary J. Blige, Ricky Martin, Ne-Yo, JoJo and Teddy Riley.
